The Ethanol test kit is a simple, reliable and accurate method for the measurement and analysis of ethanol in beverages and foodstuffs.

Principle原理:
(alcohol dehydrogenase)
(1) Ethanol + NAD+ ↔ acetaldehyde + NADH + H+
(aldehyde dehydrogenase)
(2) Acetaldehyde + NAD+ + H2O → acetic acid + NADH + H+

Method: Spectrophotometric at 340 nm
Reaction time: ~ 5 min
Detection limit: 0.093 mg/L

/ non-alcoholic beverages, pickles, fruit and fruit juice, chocolate

Note for Content: The number of manual tests per kit can be doubled if all volumes are halved. This can be readily accommodated using the MegaQuantTM Wave Spectrophotometer (D-MQWAVE).
